G Force 2019 is definitely shaping up to be the best so far! We’re delighted to welcome Rascals brewery as a new sponsor, and to add some fantastic flavours to the BBQ courtesy of Katie and Andy from the Fumbally cafe! Were also delighted that Battlesnacks and Metolius are once again supporting G Force, so your competition entry will include some chalk and snacks to get you through qualification!

Qualification takes place on Saturday 9th March and is all about having a great climbing session with your mates! You can compete as a team of 4 as well as individually and there’s a cash prize for the top team as well as spot prizes for team entries. Competitors mark their own cards, there are no judges and no isolation. There will be 30 problems to have a go at, ranging from font 4's to approximately 7b+. There’s a 4 hour window to complete your round in, but there’s no set start time- just begin whenever you want up until 1pm- climbing ends at 5pm.

Semi- Final: Following the qualification round, the top 20 male and top 20 female competitors will progress to the semi-final, which takes place on the morning of Sunday 10th March. The semi-final follows the IFSC format with only 5 minutes to try each problem. It's a tough round and a great show for spectators!

After this we'll be having a few hours break and a BBQ, while the setting team change over the wall in preparation for the final.

Final: G Force culminates on the Sunday evening with this stunning display of climbing with the top 6 men and women batting it out for a €500 cash first prize. Last year, the final brought you some amazing climbing, with local talent and visiting stars giving it 100% effort!

Its free to come and watch the final, the action starts around 5pm. If you would like a spectator ticket, which includes BBQ and TShirt, they will go on sale Thursday morning, €10 in Gravity and online.
